About the Event:

This First Nations Women's Gathering in Perth is an inclusive celebration and sharing of First Nations culture for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander women and allies.

This special event, hosted by Noongar CCI and First Nations X, is dedicated to celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, and welcoming guests from across the globe, including First Nations delegations from Canada, America, Aotearoa (New Zealand) and Australia. It will be a space to honor and amplify the voices, achievements, and cultural practices of First Nations women, with a special focus on leadership and business.

Being a ‘Women's Business’ gathering, attendance is for women-only, ensuring the gathering is a sacred space for women to connect, support one another, and share learnings.  It will involve storytelling, sharing of culture, discussing community.

This event welcomes all women who identify as women, as well as non-binary, and promises to be an empowering celebration of culture, connection, and leadership for First Nations women, as well as an opportunity for all attendees to support and learn from the rich wisdom within these communities, where inspiring Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander women, along with the international delegations, will share their stories and wisdom in a powerful Yarning Circle.

The Gathering will also celebrate regional women who have successfully completed the 2024 HORIZON Program, offering a platform for commerce, cultural performances, and connection.

Attendees can expect a rich blend of traditional weaving, Indigenous dance, and collaborative arts.

This event is a dynamic, hands-on Masterclass designed to empower First Nations entrepreneurs and business leaders to use artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool for growth, innovation, and resilience.

Participants will gain a clear understanding of AI basics and its potential applications in areas like marketing, customer service, and operations, making these tools accessible even for those with no technical background.

Through expert content, case studies, and real-world examples of First Nations businesses successfully utilising AI, attendees will learn practical ways to enhance productivity and reach new markets. 
The event includes a Q&A session to ensure that participants leave equipped with a practical toolkit for ongoing AI integration in their businesses, whilst maintaining alignment with Ancient Intelligence from 65,000+ years of our FIrst Nations people being our first innovators and entrepreneurs.

The event will also be live streamed to support equitable access.

First Nations House will debut globally at West Tech Fest in Perth, Australia, in December 2024.

Delegations of First Nations leaders from the USA, and New Zealand are confirmed for FNH Perth, and a Mission is planned to the US next year.

The First Nations House program includes workshops, mentoring sessions, keynotes and panels on topics such as creativity, culture and Country, capital connections, sustainability, and digital tech trends.
